The Nanni Diesel 4-cylinder engine H4.170 has been developed taking advantage of the latest improvements in terms of modern diesel engines.
Endowed with an electronically controlled Common Rail direct injection system, 4 valves per cylinder, a turbo compressor and two balance shafts, this engine ensures upscale performance and complies with the most stringent emission regulations in the world, while maintaining low values of fuel consumption.

Saving space and weight
Installation and maintenance into small machine rooms are made easy thanks to a well integrated marinisation together with the compact design of the lubrication, cooling and air systems.
Further to its size advantage, this 170 horsepower engine benefi ts from a remarkable power to weight ratio.

Dynamic and responsive
The high rotation speed of the H4.170 is particularly adapted to planning and fast hulls, both in shaft line than Stern Drive versions. A 700 rpm idle speed will be highly appreciated for fi shing-trawling, and for manoeuvres in the harbour, as well.
Protecting the environment
The common rail injection associated to an efficient cooling system enable this engine to comply with EPA Tier 2 and EU-RCD emissions regulations.
